Customer Service Representative
(Full-time)

Description: Assists in handling customer's complaints, inquiries and questions in regard to billing and taking applications for new and existing service, disconnects, and transfers of service.  Also assists with computer-related issues including, but not limited to, report writing, networking and maintenance of hardware and software as well as collection of both active and inactive delinquent accounts.
Requirements: Should possess at least two years experience working directly with the public in a similar work environment.  Good oral communication skills necessary.  College degree preferred, with college level courses in business-related field such as Computer, Business, Finance, or Accounting with concentration in MIS or Computer Science.  Experience in Access, Crystal Reports or other database/report-writing software required.

Construction Technician I
(Full-time)

Description: Performs under direct supervision in all types of construction, maintenance operations and retirements and distribution conductors, structures, and equipment, de-energized only.
Requirements: Is able to climb both wooden and steel poles and work on de-energized lines.  Must be able to pass PEC's written exam demonstrating such knowledge.  Must have the ability to lift objects up to 100 pounds.  Must possess good working attitude toward other employees and consumers.  Must possess Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or obtain same within one year of employment.

Accountant

Description: Process accounts payable, monthly processing of vehicle analysis, material inventory, journal entries, posting cash receipts, balancing various subsidiary systems with general ledgers and various other accounting duties.
Requirements: Must have training or experience in data processing and experience with personal computers. A minimum of B.S. degree in accounting is required; prefer individual with CPA or subject to attaining CPA. Must possess ability to organize work schedules for most efficient use of time.

Mechanics Helper
(Part-Time)

Description: Performs monthly inspections on vehicles; Changes oil, filters, and lubricates vehicles; Fills vehicles with gas; Washes vehicles; Helps on repairs as needed; Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Ability to service vehicles and the knowledge to make minor repairs. Prefer completion of high school or the equivalent. Must be able to work on a part-time basis up to 20 hours per week on a schedule as determined by the Cooperative.

Warehouse Helper

Description: Duties will include receiving freight, issuing material, preframing units, filling data input, salvaging retired meters and keeping warehouse clean and organized on a daily basis.
Requirements: Must be available to work up to 20 hours per week on a schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.  Must have the ability to lift heavy items such as transformers, poles, etc.

Construction Engineering Helper
(Part-Time)

Description: This job involves the ability to compile data and develop reports.  Will be responsible for updating system maps on a daily basis using AutoCAD or other software, using AutoCAD to generate various drawings and specs, and assisting with other department duties (posting completed jobs, picking jobs, tagging poles in the field, etc.)
Requirements: A curriculum leading to an Industrial Arts or Math Degree would be helpful but not essential.  Must have good overall knowledge of computers and mathematics.  Experience in AutoCAD and/or ESRI software a plus.  Must be attentive to details and willing to learn.  Must be available to work on a part-time basis up to 20 hours per week on a work schedule as determined by the cooperative.
