- The creation/retention of jobs
- To finance business facilities and community development projects
- 75% within the Champion Community/Pontotoc County
- Remainder within PEC's service territory
- Loan Interest Rate/Fees/Term
- $50 preliminary application fee (covers cost of credit investigation)
- 1% - Loan Origination Fee
- Interest rate/term based upon type & structure of loan (not
to exceed 10%/30 years)
- To meet the objective and purpose of the program(s) of the lending
institutions PEC works with.
- To use labor of low income persons to the maximum extent possible.
- To display innovation in providing service/products for the public
to the maximum extent possible.
- The applicant has the qualifications to implement the business plan
and assurance to repay the loan.
- To provide adequate security for loan repayment.
