Do you ever feel like you're replacing light bulbs every time you turn around? Sometimes, light bulbs burn out quickly because the voltage in your home is a little higher than the light bulb is designed to handle. PEC is pleased to offer new long life light bulbs designed to last up to 10 times longer than traditional bulbs! These bulbs have an expected life of 5,000 to 15,000 hours. In addition, these light bulbs are designed for 130 volts, which means they will not burn out if the voltage in your home increases at times. Because the bulbs are designed for 130 volts, the light output may differ from traditional bulbs. To save energy, find the lowest watt bulb that provides the light output you need.  You can see a comparison of the light output of one of these bulbs to an ordinary bulb at PEC's office at 1600 N. The bulbs are available in 60 watt, 75 watt or 100 watt size. They sell for only $2 (carton of 4) and $3 (carton of 6)--this price includes tax!.
